About the role

Montshire Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team at our Lebanon office. We are a family-owned practice serving nearly 30,000 children across New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, and Massachusetts. Our work centers on eliminating barriers to care so families can access the dental services they need.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality to HIPAA standards.
• Adhere to strict safety guidelines and procedures per OSHA and office standards.
• Demonstrate active listening: giving full attention to what others are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills: talking to others to convey information effectively.
• Ability to think ahead and anticipate the needs of the doctor as well as the patient.
• Comfort with frequent client and interoffice personnel interaction; this position is chair-side to dentists and heavily dependent on excellent customer interaction.
