About the role

Dental Care Center is seeking an energetic and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. Dental Assistants play a crucial role in ensuring that dental procedures proceed smoothly and patients remain comfortable.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with providers to facilitate smooth dental procedures.
• Ensure patient comfort during dental visits.
• Organize and manage patient records and supplies efficiently.
• Assist in the administration of dental treatments.
• Use digital x-rays, sterilization, and infection control techniques.
• Operate computers, scanners, printers, and fax machines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous dental assistant experience preferred.
• Experience with Dentrix or Dentrix Ascend systems preferred.
• Practical knowledge of dental materials, instruments, and procedures.
• Knowledge of digital x-ray, sterilization, and infection management.
• Comfort working with computers, scanners, printers, and fax machines.
