Dental Assistant

Mid America Health is seeking a Full-Time Portable Dental Assistant to join our growing School Smiles team, providing portable dental services to children at local schools in the Columbus, OH area (2-hour radius). This is a rewarding, low-stress opportunity in a non-private practice setting.

About the role

This position is 5 days per week (Monday - Friday, during school hours) and offers a great work/life balance, allowing you to leave work at work. You’ll serve a typically underserved population and work with a truly grateful patient base, providing a strong sense of value and importance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain portable equipment and supplies, as well as the company van, which remain in your possession at all times
• Assist the dentist in portable operatory setup inside schools, including chairside procedures
• Handle loading, unloading, and setup of the dental operatory inside schools
• Perform various administrative duties

Requirements

• Active Ohio X-ray License (required)
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers (required)
• 1-year Dental Assistant experience (preferred)
• Willingness to travel within a 2-hour radius of Columbus, OH
