Dental Assistant

Mid America Health is seeking a full-time Portable Dental Assistant to join our School Smiles team, providing dental services to children at local schools in the Portage, MI area (within a 2-hour radius). This is a rewarding, low-stress opportunity in a non-private practice setting.

Schedule

5 days per week (Monday - Friday, during school hours). No weekend hours.

Pay

$27.00 per hour for clinic hours worked and drive time.

Responsibilities

• Maintain portable equipment and supplies, as well as the company van
• Assist the dentist with portable operatory setup inside schools and chairside procedures
• Load, unload, and set up the dental operatory inside schools
• Perform various administrative duties

Requirements

• Active Michigan X-ray License (required)
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers (required)
• 1-year Dental Assistant experience (preferred)
• Willingness to travel within a 2-hour radius
