Dental Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a full-time portable dental assistant. This position is 5 days per week (Monday - Friday, during school hours) based out of the Detroit, MI area (2‑hour radius) and provides portable dental services to children at local schools. It is a low‑stress opportunity in a non‑private practice setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain portable equipment and supplies, and perform maintenance on the company van (which remains in your possession at all times).
• Assist the dentist with portable operatory setup inside schools and chairside procedures as needed.
• Load, unload, and set up the dental operatory inside schools.
• Perform various administrative duties.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan X‑ray License (required).
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers certification.
• One year of dental assistant experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel within a 2‑hour radius.

Pay

Hourly rate of $27.00 for clinic hours worked and drive time.

Monday – Friday, during school hours; no weekend hours.
