Dental Assistant

About the role

Full-Time Dental Assistant position at Madison Correctional Institution in London, OH. This is a 4‑day, 40‑hour per week role (Monday‑Thursday) with no late nights or weekends. The position offers a rewarding, low‑stress alternative to private practice, serving an underserved patient population.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine chairside duties: preventive, restorative, extraction, and prosthodontic care (very limited endodontics).
• No orthodontics or crown & bridge work required.
• Carry out administrative duties; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• One year of dental assisting experience preferred.
• Certificate from an accredited dental assisting program preferred.
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers required.
• Ohio Radiographer License required.
• Facility is non‑smoking per ODRC policies.
