Dental Assistant

Mid America Health is seeking a Full-Time Portable Dental Assistant to join our growing School Smiles team, providing portable dental services to children at local schools in the Bowling Green, KY area (2-hour radius).

This is a rewarding, low-stress opportunity in a non-private practice setting, ideal for a Dental Assistant looking for a full-time position with excellent work/life balance. The role operates 5 days per week (Monday - Friday, during school hours) and allows you to leave work at work, focusing on treating an underserved population that deeply appreciates your care.

Responsibilities

• Maintain portable equipment and supplies, as well as the company van, which remain in your possession at all times.
• Assist the Dentist in portable operatory setup inside schools, including chairside procedures.
• Handle loading, unloading, and setup of the dental operatory inside schools.
• Perform various administrative duties.

Requirements

• Active Kentucky X-ray License (required).
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers (required).
• 1-year Dental Assistant experience (preferred).
• Willingness to travel within a 2-hour radius of Bowling Green, KY.

Pay

$27.00 per hour for clinic hours worked and drive time.
