Dental Assistant

Mid America Health is seeking a Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our growing School Smiles team, providing portable dental services to children at local schools in the Cincinnati, OH area (2-hour radius).

About the role

This is a full-time, 5-day-per-week position (Monday–Friday, during school hours) in a low-stress, non-private-practice setting. A company vehicle, gas card, and maintenance card are provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain portable equipment and supplies, and perform maintenance on the company van (remains in your possession at all times).
• Assist the dentist with portable operatory setup inside schools and provide chairside support during procedures.
• Load, unload, and set up the dental operatory at school sites.
• Perform various administrative duties.

Requirements

• Active Ohio X-ray License (required).
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers (required).
• One year of dental assisting experience (preferred).
• Willingness to travel within a 2-hour radius of Cincinnati, OH.

Pay

$27.00 per hour for clinic hours worked and drive time.
