Dental Assistant

Mid America Health (MAH) is seeking a Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our growing portable Tennessee team. This rewarding opportunity provides portable dental services to local county jails in a non-private practice setting, offering a low-stress environment and the chance to give back to an underserved, appreciative patient base.

About the role

This portable dental assisting position is based in the Knoxville, TN area, with travel extending up to a 2.5–3-hour radius. Hotel stays are provided if desired, and coverage includes Southern Kentucky. The schedule is Monday through Friday with no late nights or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist in chairside procedures
• Manage equipment and supplies, including maintenance of the company van
• Perform various administrative duties

Requirements

• Active Tennessee Dental Radiology License (required)
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers (required)
• 1-year dental assistant experience (preferred)
• Willingness to travel within a 2.5-hour radius
