Full-Time Portable Dental Assistant Job Description

Mid America Health is currently seeking a Full-Time Dental Assistant to join their School Smiles team. This position is 5 days per week (Monday - Friday, during school hours) based out of the St. Louis, MO area (2-hour radius) and provides portable dental services to children at local schools. A company vehicle is provided, along with a gas and maintenance card.

Job Duties

• Responsible for maintaining portable equipment and supplies as well as maintenance of company van, all which remain in your possession at all times.
• Aid the dentist in portable operatory setup inside the school with chairside procedures as needed.
• Responsible for loading/unloading and setup of dental operatory inside school.
• Variety of administrative duties.

Job Qualifications

• An active Missouri X-ray License is required for this opportunity.
• CPR for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
• One year of Dental Assistant experience is preferred.
• Willingness to travel within a 2-hour radius is necessary.
