Dental Assistant

Mid America Health is seeking a Full-Time Portable Dental Assistant to join our growing School Smiles team, providing portable dental services to children at local schools in the Valparaiso, IN area (2-hour radius).

About the role

This is a full-time, 5-day-per-week position (Monday–Friday, during school hours) offering a low-stress opportunity in a non-private practice setting. A company vehicle, gas card, and maintenance card are provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain portable equipment and supplies, as well as the company van, which remain in your possession at all times
• Assist the dentist in portable operatory setup inside schools, including chairside procedures
• Load, unload, and set up the dental operatory inside schools
• Perform various administrative duties

Requirements

• Active Indiana X-ray License (required)
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers (required)
• 1-year dental assistant experience (preferred)
• Willingness to travel within a 2-hour radius
