About the role
Join our team of medical professionals at the Otero County Processing Medical located in Chaparral, New Mexico.
Responsibilities
- Aid the dentist in performing services by preparing patients in the chair and handling required instruments, equipment, and dental plastics.
- Sterilize instruments and keep the office stocked with required supplies.
- Arrange and maintain appointment schedule.
- Keep records of patients.
- Maintain absolute security and confidentiality of all medical records; observe applicable HIPPA rules.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Six (6) months clinical dental assistant experience, current certification, or registration as a dental assistant in the state of New Mexico or compact state, and current certification in dental radiological procedures.
- Must possess current CPR certification.
- Thirty (30) hours of continuing education are required during each triennial renewal cycle.
- Valid driver’s license in the state of New Mexico or Texas with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
Qualifications
- Must be able to work full-time, Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm.

$18.41 per hour.
Schedule
