Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during patient exams
• Prepare treatment areas and equipment
• Administer local anesthesia and assist with dental procedures
• Manage patient records and maintain confidentiality
• Perform routine hygiene tasks such as cleaning teeth and applying fluoride treatments

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid state dental assistant license
• Experience in a dental office setting
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Physical stamina for standing and moving between patients

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Dental Assisting preferred
• Knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy
• Proficient in computer systems used in dental practices
