Dental Assistant

About the role

We're a privately owned dental practice looking for a Dental Assistant who enjoys building relationships with patients and wants to be part of a close-knit, supportive team. This part-time position offers the opportunity to expand your skills beyond chairside assisting, including patient communication, answering phones, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
• Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.
• Be knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience.
• Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
• Develop a relationship with the patient.
• Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
• Take, expose, and mount high-quality dental radiographs.
• Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience working as a Dental Assistant.

Preferred: Experience with dental software such as Denticon.

Pay

$22–$24 per hour, based on experience.

Schedule

• Monday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM (2 Saturdays per month)

Opportunity to pick up additional days as practice needs evolve.
