Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
• Aid the doctor in providing care to the patient.
• Be knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience.
• Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
• Develop a relationship with the patient.
• Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
• Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
• Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.

Qualifications

• Training as a Dental Assistant, will consider new grads.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Other certifications as required by the state, such as: Radiology Certification, CPR, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Dental Softwares as Dentrix, Eaglesoft or similar dental softwares, is preferred.
