Dental Assistant

About the role

A privately owned practice offering a compensation package starting at $24 - $26 per hour based on experience, with additional bonus opportunities including a 401(k) plan with a match. Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
• Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.
• Be knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience.
• Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
• Develop a relationship with the patient.
• Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
• Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
• Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience working as a Dental Assistant strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Other certifications as required by the state, such as: Radiology Certification, CPR, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), or Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Dental Softwares as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar dental softwares, is preferred.
