Dental Assistant
About the role
Heartland Dental is seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to support the operations of a dental practice in Riverside Crossing. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and a passion for supporting healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Handle daily administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and communicating with patients and staff.
- Support the practice manager with financial reporting and budget management.
- Coordinate with insurance companies to ensure timely processing of claims.
- Prepare and maintain office supplies and equipment inventory.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field preferred.
- At least 2 years of administrative experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong computer skills, particularly proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality practices.
