Dental Assistant Responsibilities

• Competently operates standard dental equipment, which may include autoclave, air/water syringe, suction, X-ray units, dental units and other office specific equipment.
• Competently operates dental office software.
• Efficiently pulls and files dental records according to standard office procedures.
• Correctly verifies all dental records for updates as needed.

Dental Assistant Qualifications

• A High School graduate or equivalent
• 1-2 years experience preferred
• X-ray license required or obtained within the first 6 months of employment
• Dental Assisting program preferred
• Certification in dental assisting preferred
