Dental Assistant

Responsibilities

• Aid the dental team in delivering high-quality patient care.
• Set up treatment areas, sterilize equipment, and keep workspaces tidy.
• Provide patients with oral hygiene tips and post-procedure care instructions.
• Work alongside dentists during procedures, fulfilling their needs and facilitating smooth operations.
• Manage appointment schedules and accurately maintain patient records.

Qualifications

• At least one to three years of prior dental assisting experience.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a sharp attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities, along with a friendly and caring personality.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency in dental software and technology is preferred but not required.

Requirements

Applicants must comply with state regulations, specifically in Michigan, where they will need to provide proof of X-ray training certification upon employment. If certification is not available at the time of hire, there is an 8-week grace period to obtain it.
