Dental Assistant

Responsibilities

• Aid the dental team in delivering high-quality patient care.
• Set up treatment areas, sterilize equipment, and keep workspaces tidy.
• Provide patients with advice on maintaining good oral health and post-procedure care.
• Work alongside dentists during procedures, fulfilling necessary tasks and anticipating their needs.
• Efficiently manage appointment schedules and accurately document patient records.

Qualifications

• At least one to three years of prior dental assisting experience.
• Outstanding organizational skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective communication abilities and a warm, caring personality.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and perform well in a hectic setting.
• Basic proficiency in dental-related software and technological tools.

Requirements

• Michigan residents must provide proof of X-ray training certification upon employment.
• If certification is not available at the time of hire, a 8-week period is granted to obtain it.
