Dental Assistant
Responsibilities
- Aid the dental team in delivering high-quality patient care
- Set up treatment areas, sterilize equipment, and keep workspaces tidy
- Provide patients with advice on maintaining good oral health and post-procedure care
- Support dentists during procedures, anticipating and fulfilling their needs
- Efficiently manage appointment schedules and update patient records
Qualifications
- At least one to three years of relevant dental assisting experience
- Outstanding organizational skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication and a friendly, caring demeanor
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced setting
- Proficiency in dental software and technology (preferred)
Requirements
Applicants must comply with state regulations, specifically in Michigan, where they must provide proof of X-ray training certification upon hire. If certification is not available at the time of employment, there is an 8-week grace period to obtain it.
