Dental Assistant

Golden Peak Dental is looking for a part-time Dental Assistant to join our team in Lakewood, Colorado. This is a great role for someone who wants a consistent two-day schedule, competitive pay, and the chance to be part of a friendly, patient-focused dental practice. We are looking for someone dependable, organized, comfortable chairside, and ready to help patients feel cared for from the moment they sit down.

Pay and Schedule

• $25–$28 per hour, based on experience
• Part-time position
• Monday and Tuesday; 7:45am to 5:00pm

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms for patient care
• Sterilize instruments and follow infection control standards
• Assist the doctor during dental procedures
• Take x-rays and intraoral photos as needed
• Support patient comfort before, during, and after treatment
• Provide patient education and post-operative instructions
• Complete dental charting and clinical documentation accurately
• Help maintain clean, stocked, and organized operatories
• Support lab tasks as needed, such as impressions, models, or temporary crowns
• Communicate clearly with the doctor, team members, and patients
• Pitch in where needed to support a smooth patient experience

Requirements

• Dental Assistant experience preferred
• Strong chairside assisting skills
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
• Comfortable working in a busy dental practice
• Friendly, professional communication
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Team-first attitude
• Commitment to patient comfort and quality care
• X-ray certification or training preferred
• CPR/BLS certification preferred
