What You’ll Do Prepare operatories for patient treatmentSterilize instruments and follow infection control standardsAssist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistryTake x-rays and intraoral photosAccurately and efficiently treatment plan based on the doctor’s diagnosisProvide patient education and post-operative instructionsComplete dental charting and codingPerform lab duties such as pouring models, taking impressions, and fabricating temporary crownsSupport administrative tasks such as answering phones, calling labs, and patient follow-up callsStock supplies and maintain equipmentAccurately document and maintain patient health informationHelp create a smooth, positive patient experience throughout the day What We’re Looking For Dental Assistant experience preferredWashington Dental Assistant Registration requiredCPR/BLS certification requiredCompletion of an accredited dental assisting program preferredRadiology certification or x-ray training preferredKnowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instrumentsExperience with dental software such as Open Dental or Dentrix preferredStrong chairside assisting skillsFriendly, professional communicationReliable, organized, and team-orientedComfortable working in a busy dental practicePatient-first mindset and strong attention to detail About Bonney Lake Family Dental Care Bonney Lake Family Dental Care provides comprehensive dental care for families in Bonney Lake, WA.
