Dental Assistant

Opportunity

We're looking for a skilled and compassionate Part-Time Dental Assistant to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced dental assistant or a recent dental assisting program graduate looking to grow in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Schedule

Schedule: Monday – Wednesday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM + every other Saturday, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Pay

$23.00-$28.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists chairside using four-handed dentistry techniques during a wide range of procedures
• Prepare and break down operatories between patient appointments
• Take digital X-rays and intraoral photographs
• Perform dental charting and coding with accuracy
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards
• Complete lab duties including pouring models, taking impressions, and fabricating temporary crowns
• Ensure patient comfort and provide a calm, welcoming experience throughout each visit
• Accurately document and maintain patient health information (PHI) in compliance with HIPAA
• Stock supplies and perform routine equipment maintenance

Requirements

• CPR/BLS certification (required)
• Dental Assistant Certification preferred
• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred
• Working knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instrumentation
• Experience with dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Open Dental preferred
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a patient-first attitude
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current license to practice dental assisting in Washington State
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
