Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of patient care, office and laboratory duties.
- Assist dentist chairside during examination and treatment of a variety of procedures.
- Provide a 10-star Patient experience.
- Prepares instruments and materials for the dentist for upcoming procedures.
- Provide direct patient care in all dental services, including restorative, ortho, pediatric, endo, periodontics, prosthodontics and OS.
- Passes dental instruments between provider and assistant (4-handed dentistry).
- Make patients as comfortable as possible in the chair while preparing them for treatment.
- Sterilize & disinfect instruments, equipment and operatories post treatment.
- Instruct patients on pre- and post-operative procedures and provide oral health education.
- Proficient in obtaining dental radiographs and intra-oral scans/photos.
- Keep treatment records such as charting existing restorations as well as planned treatment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist dentist in providing patients with instructions for care post-treatment procedures.
Requirements
- Required: six months DA experience: active WA state dental assistant registration number.
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, customer service & written communication skills.
- Clinical knowledge, skills along with patient care.
- Prioritize and delegate tasks when appropriate.
- Function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Preferred: coronal polishing certificate.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current Washington State Dental Assistant Registration.

Pay
- $25 - $32/hr, based on experience
Schedule
- Monday: 12:30pm - 7:30pm
- Tuesday: 7:30am - 2:30pm
- Wednesday: 12:30pm-7:30pm
- Thursday: 7:30am - 2:30pm
- Friday: 7:30am-3:30pm
