Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
- Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
- Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed).
- Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.
Qualifications
- One year on-the-job-experience (with supporting documentation)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn
- Reliable and detail-oriented with a professional demeanor
- Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
What We Offer
- Competitive hourly pay: $23.00 with a prime-time rate of $30.00 per hour for hours worked between 5:00 PM–7:00 PM
- Full-time Schedule: Tuesdays 7am-7pm (lunch 12pm-2pm), Wednesdays 2pm-7pm (no lunch), Thursdays 7am-7pm (lunch 1pm-2pm) & Fridays 7am-3pm (lunch 11:30am-12pm)
