Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
- Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
- Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed).
- Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.
Qualifications
- Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program OR 1 year of experience
- X-Ray certification
- Preferred: Certified Orthodontic Assistant
- Preferred: Nitrous Oxide certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Dental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
What We Offer
- Competitive hourly pay $23Min-$26Max
- Full time: Mon-Fri Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM and Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Summer hours will be running 6/29/26-8/24/26 for Monday to Thursday only - 7:00 AM / 7:30 AM to 3:30 / 4:00 PM with ½ hour lunch.
