Dental Assistant
Konikoff Dental Associates Pediatrics Little Neck is looking for a Dental Assistant in Virginia Beach, VA to assist the clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment.

As a Dental Assistant, you are an integral part of the care team, providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
- Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
- Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed).
- Help the dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and an emergency telephone directory.
Requirements
- One year or more of on-the-job experience (with supporting documentation).
- X-Ray certification.
- Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.

Schedule
Full-time: Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and Friday 7:30 AM–3:00 PM.
