Dental Assistant
Maple Shade Dental is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our clinical team and support our offices in East Peoria and Dunlap, IL. We are committed to delivering a high level of patient care and satisfaction in a collaborative, team-based environment.

As a Dental Assistant, you are an integral part of the care team, providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
- Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
- Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed).
- Help the dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.
Requirements
- Prior customer service experience required (retail, restaurant, or similar settings preferred).
- No previous orthodontic or dental assisting experience required.
- No certification required; comprehensive on-the-job training provided.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a strong focus on patient care.

Schedule
Full-time: Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM–2:00 PM.
