What You’ll Do Assist the dentist during procedures and treatmentPrepare treatment rooms and sterilize instrumentsTake X-rays and assist with impressions and study modelsWelcome, comfort, and educate patientsProvide post-treatment instructions and support excellent patient careMaintain accurate patient records and documentationFollow OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and safety protocolsSupport the clinical team and help keep the office running smoothlyAssist with dental and medical emergencies as needed What We’re Looking For 3+ years of hands-on dental assisting experience requiredExpanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification requiredX-Ray certification requiredNitrous Oxide certification highly preferredHigh school diploma or equivalentCurrent CPR certificationStrong communication and teamwork skillsA positive, patient-focused attitude Dental Assistants are expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required.
