Dental Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Full-time Dental Assistant to join our team at Capozzi Dental Group. Our mission is to provide quality dental and personal care to all our patients in a relaxed and comfortable environment. We believe that satisfying all of our patients is our most important goal.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat patients
• Act as a liaison between the patient and the doctor
• Set up trays as indicated by the days’ charts
• Review schedules and anticipate the doctor’s needs in advance
• Assist chairside using four-handed dentistry
• Enter treatment plans
• Take x-rays as needed
• Clean and disinfect operatory after each patient
• Take alginates, pour and trim models
• Package and sterilize instruments
• Keep operatory fully stocked

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Superior customer service skills
• Willingness to learn & grow
• A desire to become part of our family-oriented team & support our mission to deliver the best patient experience possible
• Ability to reliably commute to the office location in Prospect, CT

Preferred Qualifications

• Dental Office Experience
• Dentrix Ascend software experience
• X-Ray and ICE Certification

Pay

$22-$25/hour

Schedule

• Monday: 7:30AM - 6PM
• Tuesday: 7:30AM - 6PM
• Wednesday: 7:30AM - 5PM
• Thursday: 7:30AM - 5PM
• Friday: 7:30AM - 12:30PM
