Dental Assistant

About the role

As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring children develop healthy habits and a lifetime of beautiful smiles! If you have a heart for children and enjoy working with a fun team of like-minded professionals dedicated to quality care, we would love to speak with you! Pediatric Dental Assisting experience is preferred, however, we will support the training and development of an experienced dental assistant. Our ideal candidate loves kids, is flexible and reliable, and seeks to grow professionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing dental care to pediatric patients
• Travel between assigned offices, if needed
• Attend and participate in all office meetings, continuing education events, and morning huddles

Requirements

• A minimum of a high school degree or equivalent
• Radiography requirements according to state regulations
• Experience working in a professional, medical, or dental environment with direct customer service is desired
• Pediatric experience preferred

Skills

• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills; must be able to establish and maintain positive working relationships
• Customer service-oriented with a pleasant demeanor at all times
• Effective written and verbal communication with all staff and management
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
• PC skills with the ability to learn and use new software programs
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office preferred
• Experience with fax machines, copy machines, and general office equipment
