Dental Assistant

About the role

Dentistry for Children is seeking an experienced Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our Buford team. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children and thrives in a busy, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Chairside assisting
• Creating chart notes
• Performing chart prep
• Preparing treatment rooms
• Taking X-rays as permitted
• Maintaining infection-control standards
• Helping provide a positive dental experience for our pediatric patients

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of chairside dental assisting experience required (internship/externship experience does not count toward the one-year requirement)
• Pediatric dental experience preferred
• Strong communication and patient-care skills
• Dependable, team-oriented, and willing to assist in other areas of the practice as needed

Schedule

• Monday‑Thursday: 7:15 AM‑4:30 PM
• Friday: 7:15 AM‑2:30 PM
• One Saturday per month
