Responsibilities
- Work directly with the Prosthodontist to assist in advanced dental procedures, particularly dental implant treatments.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, ensuring strict infection control standards.
- Provide chair-side assistance during procedures, anticipating the dentist’s needs, and keeping the treatment area clear and organized.
- Make patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit.
- Take dental x-rays, process radiographs, and assist with radiographic imaging.
- Prepare materials for impressions and restorations.
- Educate patients on post-operative care and general oral hygiene.
- Auxiliary support for the prosthetic team with inventory management, lab coordination, and recordkeeping.
- Collaborate with other clinical staff, including oral surgeons, hygienists, and Patient Education Consultants to ensure exceptional care.
- Assist in specialized areas such as oral surgery, periodontics, and prosthodontics.
Requirements
- Valid certifications that meet applicable state requirements.
- 2+ years of previous experience in a dental assisting role.
- Prior experience with dental implants or prosthodontics is highly desirable.
- Strong manual dexterity and ability to handle dental instruments with precision.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Comfortable with radiographic equipment and digital dental technology.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current license to practice as a dental assistant in your state.
- Experience with dental implants and/or prosthodontics is preferred but not required.

Pay
$23.00 - $28.00 per hour (based on experience and certification).
Schedule
Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend shifts required.
