Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Affords assistance during medical procedures
- Takes x-rays
- Takes intraoral impressions
- Aids in prophylaxis cleaning of teeth
- Instructs patients on oral hygiene
- Charts cavities and teeth with the doctor
- Sterilizes instruments
- Sets up/breakdown and prepares rooms for treatment/hygiene
- Charts patient's treatment and treatment plan with the doctor
Qualifications
- Certification from a dental college OR three to six months related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Preferred bilingual in Spanish
Education and/or Experience
- X-Ray certification
- BLS certification
- 8-hour Infection Control certification
- 2-hour Dental Practice Act certification
Pay, Benefits, and Schedule
Pay Range: $16.90-$20.43/hr (Based on experience)
