Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Takes x-rays
- Takes IO's
- Affixes instruments
- Affixes materials
- Performs procedures in compliance with the dental standards of Arizona
- Instructs patients on oral hygiene
- Charts cavities and teeth with doctor
- Sterilizes instruments
- Sets up/breakdown and prepares rooms for treatment
- Charting of patient's treatment and treatment plan with doctor
Education and/or Experience
- Certification from a dental college
- Three to six months related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
Qualifications
- X-Ray certification
- BLS certification
- 8-hour Infection Control certification required
- 2-hour Dental Practice Act
