Dental Assistant

About the role

Dental Assistant (DA) North Dental Professionals is seeking a skilled and compassionate Part time Dental Assistant to join our team. You will work closely with our dentists and other team members to provide exceptional dental care to our patients as well as perform light administrative duties.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with dentists and other team members to provide exceptional dental care to patients.
• Perform light administrative duties.
• Travel between two office locations every other week.

Requirements

• X-Ray certification in the state of Illinois preferred but not required.
• Crown Polishing/Sealant certification required.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Chairside dental assisting with a wide range of general dentistry procedures.
• Sterilization protocols to OSHA regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Computer efficiency - charting and scheduling.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to build lasting relationships with teammates and patients.
• Integrity-focused work ethic.
• Team-player attitude.
• Open-minded to new systems/techniques, direction and feedback.

Pay

$25-29 per hour (Commensurate with Experience)

Schedule

Monday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 7:30 AM- 1PM
Every other Friday: 7:30 AM - 1:00 PM
