Dental Assistant
Ohio Dental Outreach, a school-based mobile dental practice, is seeking a Dental Assistant in Cleveland, OH and surrounding areas to help provide dental care to underserved children at their school. Our innovative in-school dental program offers a unique work environment with a workday that ends with the school day and no nights or weekends.
About the Role
This role is perfect for people looking for a diverse and different working environment, working parents, and anyone who wants to make a difference in the dental field. You’ll work in a small team using state-of-the-art portable dental equipment and the latest technology, including digital radiography, to transform school spaces into fully functional dental offices for the day.
Responsibilities
- Assist in providing dental care to underserved children in school settings
- Set up and operate portable dental equipment
- Work collaboratively on a small team
- Travel to schools across counties using reliable transportation
Requirements
- X-Ray Certification
- CPR/BLS certification
- Working experience as a Dental Assistant
- Digital X-ray imaging experience
- Valid driver license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel to schools across counties
- Ability to work well with children
- Team player mindset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (for setting up equipment)
