What You'll Enjoy A comprehensive benefits package to support you both in and out of the officeCompetitive compensation that reflects your experience and skillsA dynamic, collaborative team of professionals who are passionate about what they do Specific Job Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To Provide seamless chairside support to the orthodontist using efficient four-handed dentistry techniquesGreet, seat, and screen patients while communicating patient concerns effectively to the doctorParticipate in daily morning meetings and team schedule reviews to anticipate the doctor's needs in advanceReview patient charts and maintain accurate, up-to-date patient recordsOrganize and set up procedure trays according to the day's patient charts and expected treatmentsPrepare treatment rooms, ensuring all instruments and equipment are clean, sterilized, and ready for use according to standard protocolsPromptly break down and reset treatment rooms following procedures and return instruments for sterilizationAssist the orthodontist during patient procedures, including the placement and adjustment of braces, wires, appliances, Invisalign, and retainersProvide patient education on the proper care and maintenance of orthodontic appliancesTake quality diagnostic records, including intraoral and extraoral photographs, intraoral scans using the iTero scanner, panoramic and cephalometric X-rays, and 3D/CBCT X-rays as neededEnsure operatories are consistently clean, stocked, and organized to support efficient patient careManage inventory and order materials as neededFollow all infection control, sterilization, and office safety protocolsHelp create a positive and comfortable experience for every patient Benefits 401(k)401(k) matchingEmployee discountFlexible spending accountHealth insurancePaid time offRetirement plan Requirements High school diploma or general education degree (GED)Superior customer service skillsWillingness to learn & growA desire to become part of our family-oriented team & support our mission to deliver the best patient experience possible!Ability to reliably commute to the office location in Avon, CT Available To Work During Current Office Hours Tuesday - 8am - 5pmWednesday - 8am - 5pmThursday - 8am - 5pmMay occasionally need to stay until 6pm Preferred Qualities Dental Office ExperienceDentrix Ascend software experienceX-Ray and ICE Certification Salary Description $21-$26/ hour
