About the Role

Trains in the practical skills and knowledge necessary to become a fully qualified Dental Assistant, while assisting in maintaining an efficiently operating dental clinic.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer 6 months of work experience.
• Will acquire CPR and Radiology certifications within 2 months of hire.
• Will acquire knowledge of dental equipment and instruments.
• Will acquire understanding of dental anatomy, basic dental instrumentation, and basic dental assisting.

Pay

Minimum hourly pay: $20.46.

Schedule

• Full-time, 80 hours per week (40 hours per week).
• Temporary position.

Location: Mountain Village, Department: St. Mary's Subregional Center. Under P.L. 93-638, preference is given to Alaska Native/American Indian applicants.
