Job Specifics
- FTE (40 hours weekly)
- Full-time
- Remote eligible after first day on-site in La Crosse (must reside in WI, IA, or MN)
- Shift: Monday-Friday, dayshift
What You Need
- Post-high school education in a specialized field (Health Information Technician, Health Information Administrator, or equivalent allied health program), preferred
- Absorves an associates degree in Health Information Technology
- Two years of hospital coding experience (emergency, outpatient, professional services, or inpatient coding) required
- DRG experience is preferred
- One of the following certifications:
- Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC)
- Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
- Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
- Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA)
- Certified Outpatient Coder (COC) with 2 years of inpatient coding experience
