What You'll Do
- Issue demo products to sales representatives, dealers, showrooms, and other approved users.
- Process inventory transactions through warehouse management and inventory control systems.
- Track serialized inventory and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ensure demo products include all required accessories, components, cables, and packaging.
- Monitor long-term demo placements and coordinate timely returns.
- Manage inventory levels and assist with replenishment activities.
- Conduct cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and accurate demo inventory area.
Product Returns, Inspection & Testing
- Pack and ship demo products according to company standards.
- Process inventory movements using warehouse management systems.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and cherry pickers.
- Support warehouse organization and inventory accuracy initiatives.
- Follow all company safety procedures and inventory control standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Two to three (2–3) years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping and receiving, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience using inventory management, warehouse management (WMS), or ERP systems.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Basic mechanical and technical aptitude with the ability to perform functional testing of electronic equipment.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift and/or cherry picker certification.
- Experience handling serialized inventory.
- Experience managing demo, rental, loaner, or consignment inventory.
- Experience performing product inspections and troubleshooting electronic equipment.
- Experience collaborating with Sales, Customer Service, Repair, and Accounts Receivable teams.
- Previous warehouse lead or supervisory experience.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, and move products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and climb throughout the workday.
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and cherry pickers.
- Ability to inspect, test, package, move, and organize inventory.
- Good close, distance, color, and depth perception.
Work Environment
- Warehouse-based position.
- Non-air-conditioned facility.
- Regular exposure to varying temperatures based on seasonal conditions and warehouse activity.
- Frequent movement throughout warehouse storage and inventory areas.
- Hands-on work with warehouse equipment, inventory, and electronic products.
