Demand Planning Director
About the role
We are seeking a seasoned demand planning professional from the CPG world to join us as a functional expert. This unique role bridges the gap between product, customer support, and go-to-market teams, providing outsized influence on how technology shapes the future of demand planning across the CPG landscape.
Responsibilities
Partner with product and engineering teams to inform roadmap priorities, validate designs, and ensure we’re solving real CPG demand planning challenges.
Synthesize customer feedback and market intelligence into actionable product insights.
Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them to optimize workflows, solve challenges, and maximize platform value.
Collaborate with sales & marketing teams on key go-to-market activities including discovery calls, content generation and educational materials, running webinars, etc.
Requirements
5+ years of hands-on demand planning experience at CPG brands, including direct responsibility for forecast generation, demand-supply collaboration, and S&OP processes.
Deep functional expertise in demand planning methodologies, forecasting techniques, and planning systems.
Understanding of how demand planning connects to broader supply chain, finance, and commercial objectives.
Comfortable working with data and analytics tools.
Excited by ambiguity, fast-paced environments, and cross-functional collaboration.
Willingness to work at our NYC Headquarters 5 days a week.
Qualifications
Experience with data-driven decision making and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in demand planning.
Skills
Advanced proficiency in Excel, Tableau, or similar data analysis tools.
Experience with demand planning software such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay
Base salary between $150,000 and $200,000 + Benefits + Equity (.15% - .25%).
