About the role
As a Demand Planner I/II for Greenheck Group, you perform duties associated with supporting the GIB supply chain management software and the forecasting process. This involves analyzing historical sales data, market trends, customer behavior, and other relevant factors to create accurate predictions of future demand.
Responsibilities
- Report on exceptions to demand and potential sales trends to enable the leadership team to make informed decisions.
- Monitor standard processes and Critical few (KPI’s from BU’s/Sourcing function), maintaining feedback and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain Coordinators (Material Specialists and Buyers) in the central Supply Chain organization to ensure the output of the demand reviews are considered when implementing material replenishments across the Business Unit.
- Collaborate with the Raw Materials Buyers and Raw Materials Manager to ensure the output of demand reviews is factored into material replenishment decisions.
- Manage the raw materials commodity forecast, handling tactical to strategic problems and referring more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Serve as a key liaison to the raw materials buying team — analyzing usage trends, directly updating forecasts based on that analysis, and leading monthly face-to-face business reviews with steel service providers.
- Some sourcing activities may be required.
Requirements
Level I
- 4-6 years of relevant work experience in procurement, buying, or demand planning/forecasting required.
- 2 Year / Associate Degree in business, supply chain, or a related field of study or equivalent years of job experience required.
- 4 Year / Bachelor Degree in business, supply chain, or a related field of study preferred.
Level II
- 6-8 years of relevant work experience in procurement, buying, or demand planning/forecasting required.
- 4 Year / Bachelor Degree in business, supply chain, or a related field of study or equivalent years of job experience required.
Skills
- Minimum travel is required.

Pay
The starting base pay range for this position is $77,235 - $105,903 and may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
Physical Requirements
- Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment, such as a computer and phone.
- Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
- Repetitive motion: Substantial motions of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
- The person is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading.
- Occasional mobility required to attend in-person meetings and complete various office tasks.
