About the role

The Demand Planner will assist with operational forecasting for finished goods, incorporating business intelligence from Sales, Marketing, and Category Management to refine forecast models.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain statistical forecasts using the Logility Voyager System, incorporating business changes and intelligence.
  • Gather, analyze, and validate data; apply error analysis techniques to improve forecasting accuracy.
  • Perform root cause analysis on forecast bias using proven data analysis skills.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure the demand plan meets Forecast Accuracy goals for assigned customers and Promo Groups.
  • Summarize and aggregate statistical forecasts based on audience requirements.
  • Facilitate monthly collaborative meetings with sales teams to review sales plans, promotions, and demand drivers for consensus forecasting.
  • Represent assigned areas during S&OP process meetings for Demand Review and Consensus.
  • Present, solicit, and assess feedback on forecasts from Sales, Category Management, and Finance during monthly meetings.
  • Communicate demand changes to the internal supply team for short lead times and large variances.
  • Prepare materials to facilitate research and discussion; maintain forecasts in demand planning systems.
  • Aid in improving and streamlining demand planning processes.
  • Own at least one "Top Customer" through the S&OP process, reviewing historical trends, demand drivers, and forecast data.
  • Develop leadership goals, partnership skills, and cross-functional strategies; complete trainings such as Presenting Data Visually, Clear Is Kind, and TCCA Decision Making.
  • Identify risks and areas for improvement; meet personal and departmental metric goals.
  • Establish best practices for project management and documentation of outcomes; present findings to department management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Two (2) or more years of related Supply Chain experience.
  • Understanding of the manufactured planning cycle, inventory control, and S&OP process.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with great attention to detail.
  • Proven analytical skillset and high-level experience using Excel, demand planning tools, and ERP systems.
  • Ability to thrive in a demanding and fast-paced work environment.
  • Logility experience is a plus.
  • APICS or CPF certifications are a plus.
