Demand Planner

About the role

dormakaba is seeking a Demand Planner based in Reamstown, PA. The Demand Planner is responsible for developing accurate mid- to long-term demand forecasts to support the manufacturing planning process. This role will lead cross-functional collaboration between Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and S&OP teams to ensure a reliable and responsive forecast aligned with business objectives and Market Intelligence.

What You Will Do

• Organize and facilitate monthly demand review meetings, ensuring alignment across Sales, Marketing, and S&OP stakeholders
• Cleanse historical sales data and apply statistical forecasting models to generate reliable mid- to long-term demand plans and collaborate with Sales for inputs on future projects and potential demand changes
• Adjust forecasts based on market dynamics, sales opportunities, and product lifecycle changes (NPI, End-of-Life)
• Act as a liaison between Sales, Product Management, and Operations to validate planning assumptions and drive consensus
• Monitor forecast performance using key metrics (MAPE, Bias) and implement improvements to enhance planning effectiveness

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or S&OP in a manufacturing environment
• Experience using forecasting tools, ERP (SAP preferred), and advanced Excel skills required
• Expert-level PowerPoint skills with experience developing executive-ready presentations, reports, and meeting materials

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, Analytics, or related field (preferred)
• Previous experience with AS400 (preferred)
• APICS certification (preferred)
• IBP experience (preferred)
• Power BI experience (preferred)

Pay

Base Salary $85,000 - $95,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
