Demand Planner AM-N BIBSP
About the Role
We are seeking a Demand Planner who will help the organization understand the specific product needs of our customers and ensure we have the inventory and capacity to meet those needs on time. This dynamic role includes high levels of communication across functional areas, data analysis and insights reporting, demand and materials planning, as well as direct engagement with Sales and Customers. You'll be part of a high-performing team with responsibilities for building strategies that guide sales decisions and developing processes that allow our sales team to drive superior marketplace execution, customer service, share of wallet, and overall market share.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Head of Sales Operations to understand forecasting bottlenecks and inconsistencies to improve the sales team's performance.
- Work closely with Key Account Managers (KAMs), finance, customers, and other internal stakeholders to drive improvements in forecast accuracy (FCA).
- Develop a monthly forecast trend report by KAM (highlighting FCA by customer and top SKUs). Track and update monthly forecast risks and opportunities.
- Initiate S&OE (Sales and Operations Execution) continuous improvements.
- Develop a monthly inventory report that includes product details and suggested customers.
- Develop and implement a statistics-supported forecast.
- Apply quantitative analysis and data visualization to tell the story behind the numbers.
- Participate in regional SI&OP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) sessions and own monthly reporting, analysis, and improvement action plans to boost KPIs.
- Provide support for ad hoc reports as well as regular forecasts and pipeline analytics.
- Optimize sales and operational efficiency through innovative thinking, process improvement, system enhancements, and best practice sharing.
- Manage and optimize transportation, inventory, and material flow processes for VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) customers to ensure seamless production and delivery.
- Maintain and utilize sales analytics reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights that support data-driven decision making for the KAMs.
- Drive process improvements in Salesforce CRM including workflow, reporting, data integrity, and maintenance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or a related field (preferred).
- 1-2 years of experience in Demand Planning or a similar field.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM and ERP/MRP systems such as SAP or LN.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets and translate data into actionable business insights.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with Power BI.
- Experience developing forecasts, inventory analyses, dashboards, and business reports.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
