Job Summary JOB DESCRIPTION The ISS Deltek Practice Director is responsible for maintaining client relationships, providing support in the areas of Deltek Costpoint consulting, ancillary systems & integrations, and overseeing assigned staff ranging from Associates to Senior Managers. This position will work to implement Deltek and its suite of products for clients in heavily regulated industries such as government contracting and non-profit. Job Duties Architects & leads implementations for Deltek Costpoint and other core offerings Manages various technology integrations through project management, and when required, with specific Deltek knowledge Using the BDO framework, assumes responsibility for projects’ phases and works directly with clients to accomplish project objectives Project management of implementation engagement(s), independently and collaboratively, for core Deltek offerings Interprets corporate & entity-level (Federal, non-profit, etc.) compliance as it relates to Deltek & other technology Reviews and develops policies and procedures related to accounting, contracts, and pricing for the client initiatives to secure new business, including but not limited to participating in Business Development meetings, developing relationships with clients and networking activities Demonstrates initiative to grow the practice through client expansion and process improvement(s) Other duties as required Supervisory Responsibilities Serves as a member of the consulting group’s management team Supervises, develops, and trains staff Reviews and evaluates work prepared by staff Trains staff on how to use current software tools and Industry Specialty Services methodology Schedules and supervises workload of assigned staff Provides verbal and written performance feedback to assigned staff Acts as a Career Advisor to staff ranging from Associates to Senior Managers Education Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or another relevant field; required Advanced degree, preferred Experience Ten (10) or more years of relevant experience including accounting & system-focused knowledge; required Familiarly with ERP & technology implementation best practices; required Prior experience with Government contracting, nonprofit, and other highly regulated industries; preferred and highly valued History of managing people, projects, and process improvement; required License/Certifications CPA, CMA, PMP, others; preferred Deltek suite or other technology certifications; preferred and highly valued Software Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, planning tools, and specifically advanced knowledge of excel and/or data workbooks Deltek Costpoint; required Other Deltek ERP & PSA products; preferred Language N/A Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills, specifically business / report writing Strong analytical and basic research skills Solid organizational skills especially the ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environment Proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously Familiarity with FAR, CAS, and GSA schedules Ability to follow and apply specific rules and regulations Ability to work with minimal supervision Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
