DeltaV Technician III

Join our team as a DeltaV Technician III and help drive excellence in LNG operations at a major facility in Sabine Pass, TX. This critical role focuses on complex diagnostics, maintenance, and system optimization within a fast‑paced, regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize Distributed Control Systems (DCS) to ensure seamless plant operations.
• Monitor DeltaV diagnostics, perform routine backups, updates, and security protocols.
• Support installation, commissioning, and system upgrades in compliance with safety and technical standards.
• Analyze system alarms, diagnose issues, and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to ensure operational excellence.
• Document configurations, maintenance activities, and system changes accurately.
• Provide technical support and training to operators and staff, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Required Skills

• 5–7 years of proven experience with DeltaV control systems in an industrial environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across DCS hardware and software.
• Familiarity with AMS Optics is a significant plus.
• Solid understanding of process safety, environmental standards, and regulated LNG operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently on moderately complex assignments and coordinate with diverse teams.

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with control system installation, commissioning, and configuration.
• Background in LNG, natural gas, petrochemical, pipeline, terminal, or heavy‑industrial environments.
• Knowledge of control system security practices and system diagnostics tools.
• Prior experience supporting or working within regulated environments.

Education & Experience

• Technical schooling or certifications related to DCS systems.
• Relevant experience in LNG or similar regulated industrial settings.

Other Requirements

• Flexibility to work 8–10 hours per day; schedule may vary.
• Willingness to support surge work for 1–3 years based on project needs.
• Ability to travel or support onsite presence at Sabine Pass, TX, or other locations as required.
