Delivery Truck Driver - Full-Time

About the Role

This position involves safely operating tractor trailers or straight trucks to deliver food and related products to customers, ensuring timely arrivals and good condition of goods. The driver acts as the company's representative, building strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Performing safety checks and inspections per DOT regulations
• Driving various routes including local, over-the-road, shuttle, and overnight deliveries
• Loading, unloading, and securing freight, verifying deliveries, and obtaining signatures
• Handling paperwork, cash collection, and damage control
• Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and security of equipment
• Adhering to safety protocols and reporting hazards or repairs
• Completing daily logs and performing general housekeeping duties

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 6+ months commercial driving experience
• Valid CDL-B license
• Must be 21+ years old with a clean Motor Vehicle Report
• Ability to pass drug, background, and road tests
• Current DOT health certification or ability to obtain one
• Physical ability to lift and handle freight weighing 10-90 pounds and operate necessary equipment
